This was a gift for my brother who has travled quite a bit. He just started out in the Navy so I figured it would be a fun thing for him to have. He was more then happy. I have done a lot of traveling over the years and wanted something visual to remind me of where I have been and challenge me to keep growing. The maps are fun to scratch off and see what is hidden beneath. I think they would be a great way to teach geography to kids and, speaking as a retired educator, interactive exercises usually help children retain information. I remember as a child my favorite puzzle was a map of the USA and through repetition I learned the location of all the states and it stuck with me throughout the years.
