It really does increase the pressure of water coming out of the showerhead. It's extremely comfortable and just all around amazing. You can even have it upside down and it still has the same strength. I'm extremely impressed!
The water pressure it generates is FANTASTIC and the switch on the handle allows you to leave the actual faucet turned on while being able to turn the water off and on from the shower head handle. I LOVE this! I bought one for both bathrooms.
